We are taking precautionary measures to maintain health and safety!

Besides following all ADA and CDC guidelines, we have taken some additional measures to keep our patients safe and healthy:

We hope you are all doing well and are enjoying your summer so far! We have been waiting on an update from our governing body- the Texas State Dental Board of Examiners to lift their emergency COVID ruling that was in effect until this past Friday, June 18th and they did!

We are so excited to let you know that a lot of routines will be going back to normal, such as our lobby is now open to those who would like to use it. We still highly recommend social distancing when possible. If you do not feel comfortable waiting in the lobby, we can still come get you from your car.

Masks are not required for entering the office but we highly recommend anyone who isn't vaccinated to wear masks. We are also discontinuing the online screening form and we are not taking temperatures anymore. If you are currently sick or have been in extended contact with someone who has recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, we kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment to another day.

We will not be changing any of our universal precautions that we have always had in place in the office. We assume that everyone who walks in our door is a carrier of some bug that can be transmitted. So, we wipe surfaces down with a powerful disinfectant seconds after you leave our treatment area. We wear gloves and avoid touching surfaces or objects. We use an over-glove at times by placing our gloved hand inside a plastic bag so we can avoid re-gloving over and over. We disinfect common areas multiple times a day like bathrooms and children's play areas and the objects that reside in there. We control aerosol spray during procedures by using a high velocity vacuum and finally, we wash our hands and use hand sanitizer over and over throughout the day. You'll also notice that all of our staff will continue to wear masks according to CDC recommendation for a healthcare facility.

We are so excited to return to some semblance of normalcy and hope that everything will continue in this direction! We are so very appreciative of you and your family. Thank you for your patience as we all navigated this past year. We are so happy to serve our community!
